Say hello to your new spin instructor!
I just passed my spin certification class. I was more or less spinning (on a bike, not in circles) from 9-4 today. I am exhausted.
It was a great class that included how to cue your class to music and all the diff drills you can do in a spin class. I think the next step is for me to lead a few songs and then (gulp) my own class.
I’m actually scared shitless. It’s funny bc I’m used to being in front of a class (I was a high school teacher a few years ago) and I enjoy public speaking. I even go to local universities and present to hundreds of students at a time. But to lead 12 people in a spin class??! Terrified. I’m absolutely terrified. Anyway…can’t think of it too much right now. Right now all I can think of is how damn sore my ass and er…girly bits are. And not in a good way. Ha ha ha (yes, I know, my jokes are lame). Next purchase: padded cycling shorts. Definitely some padded cycling shorts.
